Custom Branch Art Railing
The customer expressed their desire for railings that would reflect the beauty of nature within their home. So we implemented a natural railing design that mimicked the appearance of a tree.
By utilizing our artistic skills, we crafted railings with three differently sized tubs to bring depth and character like a tree trunk and branches. The project encompassed a combination of stair railings spanning 5 feet, balcony/catwalk railings at 21 feet, as well as a multi-bend railing at 16 feet. Using both Mig and Tig welding techniques, we ensured precision by tig welding the bases for a compact finish. The railings featured seamless 90-degree bends that were meticulously executed.
The process involved bringing materials to the site, creating templates, and verifying the structure was square and level. Upon returning to the shop, the railings were reproduced based on detailed notes and dimensions, then welded, ground, and sanded to meet specifications before undergoing powder coating.
Collaborating with Quality Sandblasting for powder coating, the railings were finished in a striking Bronze Black II hue and finished the project with a flawless installation.
